We had a “thankful day,” for school one day and we put these blessing tree’s together. It was cool to see the boys recognize and verbalize their blessings.
The next day we headed to Nanny and Paw Paw’s house for a super fun Thanksgiving holiday!
Nanny letting Lincoln bang on pots and pans with wooden spoons. He was definitely a fan!
Jackson and Baron picked oranges with Paw Paw.
Lincoln kept trying to crawl through the doggy door.
A very scruffy looking Bear washing the oranges.
Lincoln put himself in the cage. . .I promise!
The boys made the most delicious fresh squeezed orange juice with Nanny. I could have consumed galloons. . .but I was polite and just had a sip and gave the boys the rest.
Even Lincoln wanted to join in.
Nanny always makes everything so much fun.
I love the expressions in this shot, they were so excited and proud of their juice!
And they promptly drank it.
Paw Paw showing Jay a small portion of the 20 pounds of organic sugar they have.
That night we drank hot chocolate and played spinners. One of our very favorite games thanks to Paw Paw and Nanny.
I look this picture because Nanny goes to the library almost every weeks and reads about a dozen books. It truly amazes me how fast she reads. So cool and I hope my boys not only inherit the love for reading that Jay and I have but also Nanny’s crazy ability!
One thing about Beach City is that there is always something to do. The boys are never bored when we are there!
Bear loves his big tricycle.
And Jackson was polishing up on his skateboard skills.
He’s pretty good!
Paw Paw with Lincoln.
My handsome baby.
Brotherly love.
Another night of spinners!
Sweet Aunt Ree Ree and the bigs.
More fun playing!
Dennis and Carter.
The boys love their sweet cousin and it’s always a treat when he gets to come on a weekend that we are there.
I wish I had more pictures of the boys with Carter but despite my having a great time with Nanny and Paw Paw it was an exhausting weekend for me. Lincoln was getting up so many times at night that I was really struggling by the end. But we had a fabulous time and the boys were already asking to go back as we were pulling out of the drive way!
