One of the many super fun things about home schooling is the field trips. One day in November we went with some buddies from our Classical Conversations campus to the Bullock Museum. They were having a science exhibit and had some pretty cool station set up for the kiddos to play with.
The boys (Baron, Matthew, Jackson, Nicholas, Noah and Caleb) were fascinated.
Lincoln was in a pretty great mood as well.
Each boy got a chance to make the goo.
Next were the bunny helicopters.
Jackson and Caleb have gotten to be pretty good buddies.
Happy boys.
We made the bunny copters and then dropped them over a huge circular fan which blew them over the railing. Then the boys had to run down the stairs to retrieve their copter and do it all over again. It was a fabulous way to wear them out before naps.
I was at the top taking pictures (Jackson and Baron are both on the steps in this shot) and then a few of the other moms were at the bottom being sure the boys just grabbed their bunnies and ran back up.
They had to cut to separate the ears and then color the bunny and add paperclips.
There were several other exhibits but I was helping the boys instead of taking pictures.
Sweet brothers and friends.
After we finished we headed across the street to the UT campus and had a nice picnic lunch with Caleb, Noah, their little brother Joshua and their mom, Chloe. Super fun day!
