Lincoln loves to crawl into the cabinets (which are usually magnetically locked) if I ever forget and leave one open.

The kids made Thanksgiving cards for a local nursing home.
In Sunday school one day the boys each made a “Tree of Thanks.” Baron (on the left) was thankful for: home, my street, bike, brother, dad, I can talk to God, baby boy and mom.
Jackson (on the right) was thankful for: nice house, bed, toys, brothers, food, friends and family, dad and mom. I thought they did a pretty great job with what they were thankful for.
My bigs are such buddies (of course they also clobber each other constantly) and I’m so very grateful for that. I love hearing them play.
It is not uncommon for our swingset to have 8 or more kids playing on it after school each day.
Sometimes Lincoln not only plays. . .but also makes a huge mess.
In November Jay had another endoscopy. Praise the Lord that it came back normal!
Baron was very excited the first time it was cold enough for him to wear his “sissy hat.” I had to explain to someone that it was the hat that his Aunt Sissy made for him. . .not a hat for sissy boys. . .
One weekend in November Jay went to Beach City to fish for a weekend with Bryan, a buddy from our small group. A couple of other guys from our small group were supposed to come and couldn’t so Jay ended up inviting Jackson to go along. Jack was BEYOND thrilled and had a fabulous time both fishing with the men and hanging with his sweet Nanny and Paw Paw. That Saturday I watched 4 of the neighborhood girls and Bear was also thrilled. Strangely enough 6 kids (4 girls and 2 boys ages: 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1) was MUCH easier than my 3 boys. The difference in the temperaments is so interesting to me. The girls were so quiet (comparatively) and could color for over an hour!
At one point I tried putting Lincoln in the jumper as I debated how much longer we would need it. His reaction told me that it’s days were over. . .kind of sad to be getting rid of all of our baby things. Also, kind of great. . .
When we first moved in our living room was lined with the baby swing, the bouncer, the jumper and now it’s morphing into more of a living room and less of a baby room.
That morning I had taken Baron to the farmers market and he had loved dancing by the band and putting the tip in the jar.
My precious littlest guy!
Can you tell how much fun Bear was having being the big man of the group?! Thankfully Brynn and Lincoln were both sleeping during this photo.
That Sunday Jackson made it home just in time for Clara’s 6th birthday party. There were so many kids from our street there and the boys had a ball. Love that they have so many friends on the street!
And now for some pictures of the guys fishing weekend:
Bryan, proud of what they caught!
Gorgeous!
Jackson was so thrilled to be one of the men on this trip. I love how much he and Jay love fishing together.
Later in the month we shot off rockets at CC.
In the pictures below you can see how high the rockets went into the air. Jackson immediately placed this rocket on his Christmas list.
My middlest boy proudly holding the dollar that he earned helping out around the house.
Jackson and Lincoln hanging out together. I think they look so much alike. Both of the bigs just adore Lincoln and he just loves all of the attention that he gets from them.
I’ve been trying to have more play dates lately and so one day we invited Sophia (from CC) over for the afternoon. As you can see they had a great time goofing off and singing together.
Early November was crazy busy but lots of fun!
