Fun Times

One day the boys came down from their naps in their Christmas jammies, and holding a Christmas book.  They were begging (and looking completely adorable while doing so) to put up the Christmas decorations.  We typically don’t do this until after Thanksgiving but. . .they were so cute that I joined in on the ambush and we all asked Jay to get the boxes down.  Jay, being the melancholy planner that he is was totally shocked by the request.  But looking at those precious boys, and knowing that they had come up with this plan on their own-he acquiesced.

They even preemptively touched noses to show me that they were getting along so well and would continue to do so for the rest of the night.  They were so cute and I loved that they were so excited to get into the Christmas spirit.

One of my favorite Christmas decorations is this photo from 2007.  Lennon on the left, Jackson in the middle and Reagan on the right.  Reagan was 6 months, Lennon 5 and Jackson 4 months.

We couldn’t decorate without hot chocolate!

The next day we had a fish fry with some of the couples from our life group.

Jackson with Bryan and Rebekah.  Jackson LOVES Rebekah.  Like, really loves her.  Notice his placement. . .

Actually, both boys love her.  She’s such a sweet friend and has helped me out by watching the boys (all 3!) when I’ve had appointments.

Jay is one of the leaders of Jackson’s AWANA’S group and on appreciation night he got several letters, notes, and gifts from the kiddos in his group.  It was really cool to see the kids handwritten cards.
