Yes, Lincoln, our precious little redhead turned 1 on July 25th. And yes, I’m JUST.NOW. blogging about it. But in fairness, I was waiting for his 1 year check up (which turned into his 15 month check up) and his 1 year pictures. So, here we go!
I’ll start with Lincoln’s monthly pictures thru 12 months:
I just love seeing how he changed and grew each month! My precious guy was born in the midst of so much change with our move etc. and I’m just so thankful that I was still able to capture so many sweet moments.

At his 1 year appointment, which due to us searching for a good pediatrician didn’t happen until 15 months, these were his stats (with the bigs 12 month stats for comparison):

About Lincoln at 1:
Lincoln is by far the most sensitive of my boys. He’s such a delight! He’s so very different from the bigs and just does things in his own way and time. He’s a major snuggler and loves to cuddle (like the bigs). He seems to have a pretty hot temper (maybe the red hair?!), but is also just a love bug. He pats my back when I pick him up and loves to give kisses. He loves to play peek-a-boo and to laugh. Being a 3rd he has a lot of people watching and monitoring what he does. The house is pretty baby proofed and so I’ve realized that he really doesn’t hear the word, “no,” very often. He’s allowed to get into most everything that he’s capable of getting into and the bigs help with him so much.
He loves to be rocked and he, of course, loves to nurse. He’s still not a very good eater but we are working on that. He definitely has the 4 of us wrapped around his little finger. . .especially his doting daddy. Jay rushes home when ever possible to try to rock Lincoln at bedtime. And when Lincoln hears Jay’s voice, you’d better get out of the way! He’s a social little guy and shares well (being the smallest what choice does he have?). As surprised as we were that God was blessing us with a 3rd baby I just can’t even imagine our family without his sweet little smile. Playing with him is a blast and I love walking into his room in the mornings and hearing his happy coos. He truly is such a special guy. Of course, I’m also praying that he will start sleeping through the night soon. I haven’t slept well since becoming pregnant with him in November of 2011 so when I start sleeping I’m sure my entire family will be grateful!
Lincoln is my little buddy and just lights up my world. When he’s happy there’s just no better person to be around. He’s easy going. . .unless he’s teething. . .and very affectionate.
Ok, now onto my sweet man’s 1 year pictures. For his pictures we went to Aunt Mandy’s for the weekend and tried our best. He was unfortunately teething and pretty fussy but we still managed a few great shots. You’ll want to click and enlarge some of these to see our sweet babies expressions. Yay for little Dinka (as Bear has affectionately named him) turning 1! 
The little chair that he is sitting in was Jay’s when he was a little boy.
Since Mandy and I were both shooting at the same time I got a few pictures of her snapping away!
And afterwards Lincoln enjoyed crawling around and playing with Aunt Mandy.
Happy happy birthday to my precious 3rd born son. I love you more than you will ever comprehend. Our family has been blessed beyond measure by your sweet spirit and loving presence!
