Back in January I took Lincoln in for his 6 month check up. We’re still with a pediatrician that I do not care for but hopefully will get in with the a new/better one next month. Lincoln’s doing well and here are his stats along with the bigs for a fun comparison!
WEIGHT
Lincoln 20 lbs even 71%
Baron 21 lbs 4 oz 97+%
Jackson 22 lbs 4 oz 97+%
HEIGHT
Lincoln 28 inches 90%
Baron 29 3/4 inches 97%
Jackson 29 3/4 inches 97%
HEAD
Lincoln 47.3 cm (18.62 inches) 95+%
Baron 18 1/2 inches 97+%
Jackson not written down 97+%
Since all 3 boys have been with different doctors for their 6 month check ups the percentage charts are a little different as some doctors charts went up to 95% and some 97%. It’s still fun to see their sizes compared. They are all such different and awesome little guys. And on Jackson’s 6 month check up card it doesn’t say his head circumference, just has a 97+% written down so I guess he was about the same as Bear.
Lincoln is a very happy and fun 6 month old. He laughs and smiles and loves to be held (hence the lack of tummy time in his early days, he’s always being held or worn). He is unfortunately a TERRIBLE sleeper. The last few nights have been better and he’s only gotten up 4 times but man, I’m really feeling drained after 6 months of this crazy sleep stuff.
Lincoln was evaluated by ECI (early childhood intervention) a few weeks ago and started physical therapy last week for torticollis and some other issues. So far he’s loving PT and is doing very well. Now to get him sleeping!
I feel like Lincoln’s first 6 months have been so wonderful and yet so chaotic with the move etc. I’m really trying to relish in his every day. He’s so precious, loving, funny and playful and I am just so, so very thankful to God for our amazing surprise 3rd baby. I can’t imagine our family without little Lincoln.
