So Sunday we left Boston and returned home to Austin. Tuesday we went to Dallas for my MOMS party. Wednesday we were back in Austin. Friday we went to Bethlehem in Burnet and then Saturday we went back to Dallas for 1 night for my girl friends Christmas party and for Ann-Renee’s baby shower. My super awesome dad and Laura watched the big boys for me and took them to a cool Christmas party at the Heard Museum Saturday night and then to dinner and a movie on Sunday while I was at the shower. My boys are so blessed by their relationships with their grandparents!
Phew. . .that was a lot of travel for one week. Then we were in Austin Sunday thru Friday before returning to Dallas Saturday for the week of Christmas. Yep, we’ve torn up 35 since moving!
On Sunday before the shower we were able to get some good Nana Papa time relaxing. Lincoln was wearing one of my very favorite Christmas outfits from when Jackson was little (Bear being a February baby never got a chance to wear this one).
Nana remarked at how much Lincoln looks like Jackson and got out a picture of Jack in the same outfit to prove it. Yep, they look like twins!
Jack wanted to be in the picture to show the before and after of Lincoln in 5 years.
It’s amazing how similar they look!
Somehow I didn’t take any pictures of my girl friends Christmas party hosted by Kristin but we all had a great time relaxing, laughing and chatting until almost 2 in the morning. . .by far my latest evening (of choosing to be awake) in MONTHS!
It was AMAZING to see Carolyn, Ann-Renee and their mother the next day at the shower. Happy times!
And it was so neat for Carolyn to get to meet Lincoln.
What a wonderful and exhausting week!
