On December 19th we went to Jack’s school for his LAST EVER preschool Christmas play. Even having the extra year with him in preschool it’s still crazy for me to think that next year my sweet boy will be in kindergarten.
But back to the current. . .his sweet play. Our boys have always been at Cross Bend Christian Academy in Plano so they always had the whole school in the play and kids had lines and a full blown play. This was just the 3, 4 and 5 year old classes (they said the little ones would have “messed up the play by not singing correctly”) and they just sang songs. Still totally adorable but not what we had experienced prior.
Jack, my little fancy man, wanted to wear his 3 piece suit. He’s in the back and smiled the whole time.
At one point during the play he looked at me and said, “I love you mom!”
Jack with his teacher Mrs. Mary. Mrs. Mary has 5, yes FIVE daughters!
Bear was so proud of his brother and clapped and cheered for him. Jack picked out Bear’s suit and Bear was so excited to be dressed up with big brother.
This was also the first school play where just Jay and I attended. Every other play has been attended by at least Gaga, Papa and Grandmommy. Not to mention the Hirst kids have always attended the same school as ours. It was kind of sad to realize that moving forward there will probably not be any relatives at the kids routine events.
Special night nonetheless celebrating the birth of Jesus with our sweet boys!
