Ok, for a quick recap Lincoln was 22 inches, 9 pounds 2 ounces at birth. He was released from the hospital on Friday, July 27th and was 8 pounds 11 ounces. On Saturday we took him to pediatric after hours to get his bilirubin levels checked and he was 8 pounds 15 ounces and his bili levels were down (YAY!!!). On Monday we had to take him to the hospital pediatrician (for one more bili check) and he weighed in at 9 pounds and 4 ounces (with a diaper-all other weights were done naked).
Lincoln’s two week stats:
Height: 21.25 inches=76%
-yes, he’s SHORTER than when he was born. The doctor said that his head was probably pointy from birth and that’s why he measured 22 inches at birth. Weird huh!?
Weight: 9 pounds 4 ounces=70%
Head Circumference: 15 inches=76%
So, Lincoln is definitely our smallest baby and it’s pretty surprising to have a guy in the 70’s across the board! But luckily he’s perfectly healthy and doing well!
I don’t have the other boys stats at 2 weeks to compare but hopefully we’ll get Lincoln on the regular track for well visits soon. He had to come in at two weeks because no body from this practice had examined him yet.
