Facebook Post. . .

On July 26th I posted this to facebook and Grandmommy suggested that I add it to the blog so Lincoln could read it someday:

During this pregnancy I wondered if it would still be as exciting the 3rd time around. Now that he's here I can say with certainty that it's most definitely just as amazing/emotional/incredible. Lincoln is such a huge blessing and I am in complete heaven with him! I wonder how God designed this job of motherhood to just get more and more special. Despite the lack of sleep I LOVE the baby phase!

My friends comments are below:

Paddy Watters Feller When we were expecting our 2nd baby I worried that I wouldn't love it like I did our first one and sure enough God supplied a whole new heart full of love. I have no idea where it came from because it didn't seem possible. It's amazing!

  • Keri Williams Lawrence Please don't say anymore...you're really making me want to go for that third...

  • Emilie Ribbe Mundy Your such a great mommy and your boys are so lucky to have all your love that you give!

  • Adrienne Ellis Hirst Isn't it amazing?! And it doesn't just stop at the newborn phase -- the first time he coo's, rolls over, sits up, says mama, etc will amaze you just as much as it did when Jack did those things...you just might not capture them on film or document them on the blog (if you're anything like me, anyway). :-)

  • Emilie Ribbe Mundy Ok yall are now making me want a third too!

  • Theresa Beadles Orsburn I am so happy for you guys!!! Xoxo

  • Lori Eubanks Love this...and totally get it!! :) so happy for you!

  • Laurie Lynn Rider Clark Me too, I always love the baby phase, you only have it for about 11months then gone forever.

  • Elizabeth Vanman Awww! So encouraging to see you write this. I've been gearing up & preparing myself to be sooo tired again - and thinking of 'survival' for the summer and these final weeks. Just a few more weeks to go at our home now!

  • Lauren Ewers Woolley I totally agree. Who knew #3 would be amazing?! Thankfully, our God!

  • Karen 'Omark' Baca I loved my babies as babies. (They are now biiiigggg) And it grew with each one. I truly believe there is a sense of appreciation that gets bigger each time because we know how fleeting and precious it is.

  • Jessica Farmer Brodt Aw! You're such a wonderful mama!

  • Melanie Goodman Hebert Our Grande Finale was/is a love that I was unprepared for. I thought I understood it all and could handle it but she has made me weak with love. I cry tears of profound joy at least once a week now. A blessing beyond belief! I'm thrilled for you to experience it, too. (Not to mention the sibling love x 3...oh, it's a beautiful thing!!)
