Well, this is my second last day of school for Jackson and it didn’t get any easier. I’m definitely one of those cheesy sentimental moms that is sad when stages end. This year has been so wonderful and we’ve been blessed with such wonderful teachers (just like last year). I just can’t believe my little man is getting so big. Jackson is wild and active and all boy and just such a delight to be with each day. He’s so loving and sweet and randomly tells me how much he loves me multiple times daily. He’s such a love bug and a creative, smart little boy. He was so excited about his last day (he got to have ice cream) and wanted to dress up for the occasion. He looked carefully through his closet and picked out his outfit himself. He decided to wear a “fancy shirt like a honeymoon man in Mexico.” He knows we went to Mexico on our honeymoon and his super cute shirt was a present from Ellie’s Gaga (who lives in Mexico part of the year).
Here he is looking very proud of how he picked out his own clothes. He’s been getting himself fully dressed for quite a while now but usually I lay out his clothes.
Tiny man was so excited due to his brother’s excitement. Jackson helped him put on one sock which made Baron just as proud as Jackson was about his outfit!
I made it through dropping him off at school and did just fine. Then I listened to a voice mail where a friend pointed out that I had only 14 more last days of school until Jackson moves out of the house. Yep, I lost it.
Luckily I asked if I could help out with the last “I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream party” so I could get some class pictures on the last day.
The kids were so excited about the ice cream party. And Jackson even wanted some ice cream.
Notice Jackson’s wearing a different shirt. He insisted that I pack him a “not fancy honeymoon shirt” to change into in case he spilled ice cream.
Jackson was checking out the sprinkles on the other kids ice cream. I said he could have a few knowing he wouldn’t like them.
It was pretty funny because he looked at them and asked if he could have another bowl with just ice cream. I think he just wanted to know if he could have them and then quickly decided not to even try any.
Baron was of course happy to just chill in his stroller during the festivities.
Jackson was thrilled to have vanilla ice cream for the second time ever.
At this point during the party Jackson said, “mommy, why do the ladies love Baron so much?”
If you click to enlarge this picture you can see that Baron was loving the attention and doing his “cheese face” constantly!
Free play.
Jackson getting an idea. . .
Jackson thought it was hysterical that he convinced Gus to wear a “princess hat!”
Still laughing at his brilliance.
Pretending to marry Madelyn.
The guys of the young 3’s class.
Baron was having a great time but was pretty tired and just happily laid on the floor for the last 10 minutes of the party.
The whole class with Mrs. Spivey.
Love these precious kiddos!
Sophia, Mrs. Grace and Jackson.
What a great year! Jackson grew up so much in the last year and did an excellent job in school. The entire year he only got 2 time outs and got wonderful reviews each semester. His teachers said he was bright, funny, creative, helpful, mischievous (no surprise there!), loving and a joy to have around. We are so blessed to have found such an awesome school!

Love all the pictures. Jackson is of course, his most awesome adorable self, but that little Baron is growing up SO fast! It is not okay with Aunt Jenna and I will not accept it. He must stop and yall HAVE to get up here soon.
