Jackson was thrilled to dye Easter eggs with us! It’s hard to believe that next year Baron will probably be coloring eggs with us.
Jack couldn’t be serious the whole time!
The Easter bunny hid eggs all over the house and brought the boys lots of Berenstain Bear books. Those are Jackson’s favorites and we read 3 BB books each night.
The boys loved hunting for eggs.
The most precious moment from Easter was when Jackson found an egg that was empty. I told him that the EB must have forgotten to fill that egg and he said, “no he didn’t mommy. He left that one empty to remind us of Jesus’ empty tomb.” He learned that at school. We are so blessed to have him in such a great school that teaches him about the life and love of Jesus.
The Easter Bunny left Jackson these super cool eggs that had confetti inside. Jack and Jay had a blast smashing them on each others heads.
Jack has been begging for gummy bunnies ever since they were in his basket last year. They are a huge treat and he was THRILLED to get more this year.
On Easter Jackson kept saying, “the good news is that Jesus is alive and the bad news is that our tree fell.” You can see evidence of the bad news below.
After our hunt we headed to Gaga’s for lunch and to hunt for more eggs.
Jackson loved showing Grandmommy the confetti eggs.
Jay and Jer busted them on each others heads as well.
Baron thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Jack got some good time with Uncle Jer.
What a wonderful Easter!
