Splash Day!

Ever since Jack’s first year of preschool, splash day has always been his favorite.  Last year he had a stomach bug and had to miss so he was thrilled this year when he was able to go to TWO splash days!  They were so much fun and the teachers were blaring Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett while the kids played, really made me want a pina colada and a beach!

Because I pick up Bear from school at noon for nap and Jackson’s splash day started at noon-Bear scored and went to both his and his big brother’s.

Mrs. Yule, the school director, quickly decided that Bear should join the fun and be in the water.

Jack would play like crazy and then just lay back and chill for a few minutes.  Bear’s splash day lasted 20 minutes and Jack’s was over an hour.

Bear’s Splash Day:

I had forgotten Bear’s swim diaper so his regular diaper was HUGE from soaking in the water.  Yet another victim of pregnancy brain!

Bear and Nolan are buddies and have enjoyed play dates this year.

And the next day Bear was back for round two of Jack’s splash day as well.  Great naps this week!

Although day 2 seemed to take it’s toll.  Bear took many breaks on his towel.
