Last week I mentioned to my mom that next year I wanted to get the "Elf on the Shelf" for Jackson. It's a super cute book about an elf who is sent by Santa and watches your kids before Christmas. The elf flies home to the north pole each night to report to Santa and then comes back and finds a different place in your home to sit and watch each morning. Well, next year wasn't good enough for Gaga. She got the elf for Jackson the very next day. He LOVES the elf. He wakes up each morning and searches the house for our precious Dufus. Yes, he and Jay named the elf Dufus. Anyway, here he is with the elf on the shelf (which by the way I am so bummed I didn't think of!) kit and the cool Santa from Gaga.
Tearing into the box.
Kissing Santa. Jackson loves anything Santa. . .although he is terrified of the "real santa." I don't think we'll get a Santa picture this year because it just seems cruel to toss him in Santa's lap knowing he will just become hysterical.
Jackson is so excited about Christmas!

Cute! I've heard parents of older children telling them that the red lights in the smoke detectors are actually Santa Cams to encourage good behavior! :-D
