Jackson's School Christmas Party

Last week (yes, we had 5 Christmas parties in 4 days!) I hosted Jackson's class Christmas party. There were supposed to be some other moms there but unfortunately two of the kiddos were sick. So, while it was only me and his teacher, there were only 4 kids so it was no big deal. We had a blast. I to do a snack (which the mom with the sick kid sweetly dropped off), read a story and do a craft. I didn't get any pictures of the craft I brought but they decorated Christmas ornaments and did really well. Jackson's teachers are so awesome and I love that the school lets the parents be so involved.

The kids eating their snack. Notice Jackson with his "special snack" while the other kids eat frosted cookies.

The kids making "reindeer food" with Mrs. Brazeal.

As I was taking pictures of one of the kids finishing her reindeer food I heard Jackson say "wanna wrestle?" Then caught this picture of Jack and Dylan rolling around on the floor.

Mrs. Brazeal telling the boys to be careful. Can you tell Jackson needs a brother?

Jackson was not happy about the "real Santa" being at his school. I had to sit with him to even get him near Santa. . .and even then you can see he's not excited!

He asked me to please tell Santa he wanted a choo choo train.

Trying to convince him to sit near Santa for the class picture.

He decided he would shake his hand and ask for a train which was a pretty big improvement.

Jackson asking Mrs. Brazeal if the bananas in the play kitchen could be frozen so they could make poobies (smoothies).
