The weekend of February 15th Gaga and Grandmommy came for a long weekend visit. I was SO.VERY.EXCITED! It’s always a treat to have my sweet mom with us but I wasn’t sure if my precious Grandmother would ever make the trek to Austin. Well, she did and it was a blast/honor/treat having them.
Lincoln was of course excited as well.
This is just an example of why it’s hard to get pictures of Lincoln smiling. As soon as I start snapping one of his brothers immediately pops in next to him and gets all of his attention. Definitely a good problem to have that Linc is so very loved by the bigs!
Yay! They are here!
Action Jackson.
Little Bear wowed us with his light saber abilities.
Saturday we played one of our favorite games, World Disasters, created of course by the brilliant Lennon Francis.
Jack’s expression here cracks me up. He loves this game.
Baron’s expression is equally telling. He’s pretty bored.
Super fun and full of energy Gaga baked zucchini brownies with the boys. They were a huge hit!
My grandmother is such an amazing example of a Godly and Christian woman. Of course she brought her devotional to spend time in the Word each day. Such a blessing to have such amazing women in my life and the lives of my children.
This profile just melts my heart.
When I was sick as a kid my mom used to make cheese soup and blueberry muffins. So, when I had the flu she said the next time she saw me she would make it. Why is your mom’s homemade comfort food the greatest food in the world. . .no matter how old you are. . .
My boys sure do love their Grandmommy and Gaga!
Thank you mom and gm so very much for the awesome visit. Not living down the street from you is tough but the visit was perfect. Sitting up talking and laughing each night was such a huge treat and won’t soon be forgotten! Love you both!
