February Happenings. . .

Bear LOVES driving or riding in sweet Addison’s (and Brynn’s) pink mustang. 

Welcome the newest member of the Adams family, Zeke Christopher Adams.  Jackson and Baron both love this little chameleon.

Recently a friend posted a recipe (from pinterest) for pancakes using 1 banana and 2 eggs.  I added a little vanilla and some cinnamon and my boys are addicted.  They are so easy and super delicious (you don’t even need syrup) so we’ve been having them quite a bit lately.

There’s no doubt about the fact that Jackson loves his daddy.  Often when I tell Jack that Jay is on his way home from work he will write him a little note and tape it to the front door.  Here’s the envelope of the most recent note.  On the inside it said, “You’re the best daddy in the whole world and I love you so much!”  He wrote it all (I told him how to spell everything).  I am so thankful for Jack’s tender little heart.

The Francis family introduced us to this game and we love it.  Jack and I play it quite a bit before bedtime.  Jay is kind of a party pooper and doesn’t like games but every once in a while we can convince him to play a round or two.

On February 22nd Jackson lost his SECOND tooth.  Seriously, he’s getting way too big!  I had no idea what bragging rights you get from losing teeth.  It’s hilarious to hear the kids on the street talk about how many teeth they’ve lost.  It’s like hearing high school guys talk about their cars or something.  Major street cred for having lost two teeth.

A few weeks ago the boys went to a super hero birthday party for a friend down the street.  This is currently the only swing set in the neighborhood.  Jackson is beyond excited for the awesome one that he and Paw Paw are going to build.
