Our 7th Anniversary

Ok, I’m finally posting about our anniversary.  It was FANTASTIC.  I always say that each anniversary is better than the last and this was no exception.  First of all mom and David were kind enough to keep the boys. . .for an entire 24 hours!  They arrived at 1 p.m. on Saturday and we didn’t come home until 1 p.m. on Sunday.  That alone was wonderful (thank you Gaga and David!) and secondly we had a free hotel room with points from when Jay traveled.  Now, we usually stay at pretty inexpensive hotels.  I’m a major watcher of daily deals etc. and try to stick to a budget.  But this night Jay planned and he surprised me with a night at the Ritz Carlton.  It was amazingly nice to relax in a super nice hotel knowing that it was FREE.  We had a gift card to Trulucks, one of our favorite restaurants for dinner.  And then retired to the hotel to watch Contagion on pay-per-view.  The next morning we went to brunch (using another awesome daily deal) and then were eager to see our little munchkins.  The kids of course had had a great time going to chuck e cheese and playing nerf wars. 
It’s always so great to get a way with my incredible hubby and then come home to our sweetie babies.  And even sweeter is knowing that they were happy and loved on the entire time!
