Wife Swap?

Jackson is having a tough time these days. As I've said before he's being very sweet to Baron but keeps telling us he feels like hitting him. He's also begging me not to leave him again to go to the hospital. Poor little man. I read that to a toddler (and their lack of logic) bringing home baby #2 is like how I would feel if Jay brought home a new wife and said, "don't worry Hillary, I have a new wife and I will be spending more time with her but I do still love you. Oh yeah, and things like watching tv at night, I'll be doing them with her now but don't be upset." I'm not sure if that's how Jackson feels but I know he's feeling very frustrated and out of sorts. Tonight when I put him to bed I told him that I loved him and that he was always going to be my first special baby. He looked up at Jay and I and said, "I'm really freaking out about Baron being here" and gave me a big hug. He's also very protective of Baron. When we had to get more blood work done today Jackson said he wanted to kick the doctor who made Baron cry. He also gives him his pacifier and always wants to bring me his diapers etc.
Ok, I know I've given way too much details in the prior blog so my goal for the next few days will be to add some pictures and not as many words:)

Is it wrong that this post made me laugh? I know it's a really tough time for Jackson, but his comment that he's "freaking out" and that he wants to kick the doctor made me laugh. He's just so sweet and it won't take him long to realize just how fun it is to have a little brother. You're doing a great job of making the transition as easy as possible for him!

Using his words and not actually hitting are a very good thing!

That is AMAZING that he can verbalize how he is feeling! He'll be adjusted before you know it and you'll just get to sit back and watch what a great big brother he is.

What 2 1/2 year old says that he is really freaking out about this? Just as Damian and Adrienne said at Christmas about their family of 4, very quickly you all won't be able to imagine your family without Baron!
