Jackson's Birthday

For Jackson's actual birthday (last monday) we did. . .whatever he wanted:) Jackson requested that we "make food and toots (juice)" so off to the store we went! We made some super healthy (and not so delicious. . .although he loved them) muffins and also his favorite, carrot juice. I told him when we woke up that the entire day was play day. So, I did no cleaning or picking up of any sort. We played the entire day. It was pretty fun building towers, throwing footballs and pretending different things ALL day. He also informed me at one point not to touch his "puter" (computer) or I would get a time out. Nice.
After hours of "making" in the kitchen and playing all kinds of stuff we went to see the Hirst family so I could hold baby Charlie and Jax and Ellie could play. The big kids had a blast jumping all over the sofa cushions and coffee table and entertaining the adults. Jackson was not at all happy to leave the Hirst house and ran away from me and ended up falling and sliding face first on the concrete. Poor little guy. Luckily band aids fix everything and he was thrilled to get 3 upon arriving home. He also had awesome videos of Mia and Lennon singing to him which we watched about 600 times each. Thanks to everyone who made his day special!

Awh! He's still adorable even with bandaids covering his face. You all have to come over again soon for some couch jumping -- Ellie just doesn't have as much courage without her BFF here to jump with her!
