Yesterday morning we were playing in Gaga's back yard (no surprise there!). I had tried to climb one of her fence posts to see if I could find Jackson's new softball. In one day of playing with it he has already thrown it over the fence and lost it. Anyway, so he tried to copy me and climb up the corner fence post. Unfortunately we didn't realize there was a wasp nest behind that post. I was just a few steps behind him (trying to stop him from climbing) when I heard "Oh man, noner (another) bun (bug) bite!" He had a huge wasp on his stomach who I assume was stinging him. He swiped the bug away and said again "oh man mommy, Yackson noner bun bite!" He never cried or acted too upset but the bite mark on the poor little guy swelled up and had a blood mark on it. Gaga and I were far more concerned about it than he was so I guess he's got a high pain tolerance!
Jackson is not happy here that we are making him stand still to look at the bite (and of course to document it:)
He's now inspecting the bite.
Loving Gaga's porch swing while we medicate the bite.
Already sick of the swing, he doesn't sit for long.
Happily going back to play in the yard!

Wow! I'm amazed that he didn't cry or get upset... I would definitely have screamed if I were stung! What a tough little man!!!
He definitely takes after his mommy on that pain tolerance. I wonder where you got that from. I sure didn't get that gene.
Ouch! Poor guy!
