Bad Sign?

Sunday night Jax and I had dinner with Gaga at a mexican restaurant. Saturday Jackson had had such a big day (his party) AND missed his 3 hour nap. In addition Sunday's are always rough for Jax because that's when Jay leaves for the week. Not to mention I was beyond exhausted and worn out because of the wild weekend and this pregnancy turning me into someone who apparently requires 20 hours of sleep a day.

Long story longer:) Jackson was not well behaved at the restaurant. It started out ok, he was playing peek a boo with the little girl at the next booth. Then they both started shrieking at the top of their lungs at each other. I'm not positive but I assume the other diners did not want to hear screaming children. The little girls mother chastised her and she immediately stopped. Not so for little Jack. After 4 trips to the bathroom for a serious talk and some discipline he was still screaming and laughing. It didn't help that the 5, yes FIVE children at the next booth were all laughing and giving him lots of attention for it. Anyway, finally Jackson quieted down and climbed under the table to play. Mom (a little concerned and probably disgusted) asked if I realized he was playing under a dirty table at a restautrant and I, being the ever so conciencious mother than I am just leaned down and said "Jackson, don't eat anything."

Mom started laughing and said that type of attitude didn't ususally start until the 4th or 5th child. So, I don't know what kind of bad sign that is. . .that I've already been so tired and defeated that I let him play under a table. But I, being the glass half full person that I am, choose to take the entire experience as a very positive one. After all, when I told him not to eat anything off of the floor, he happily complied!
