The little boys are in the nursery at Classical Conversations each week. At our last meeting of the year the nursery director helped each kiddo make one of these ornaments. So cute!
Jack lost yet another tooth. Now we’re just waiting on some of the top row to come out!
Poor third baby, Lincoln. His toes pop out of almost every single pair of pajamas that he owns.
In January Lincoln still wasn’t eating much of anything. He was still nursing AROUND the clock. So, when he ate oatmeal, it was a big deal and we celebrated.
After breakfast he put on a little show with Baron’s microphone.
On January 11th Jay and I celebrated Valentine’s day, his birthday and our 9th anniversary with dinner out. It was our first ever date in Austin and it was wonderful!
Little guy got a haircut!
We put EVERYTHING in front of Lincoln trying to get him to eat. Mostly he passes (and by passes I mean he throws the food and screams) but sometimes he’ll give it a shot.
The boys LOVE playing the giant tic tac toe game that Mandy and Nick made for them.
And I don’t know that a day has gone by that the boys haven’t played on the swing set.
Our Sunday school class has weekly play dates that are really fun. Due to school and other activities we don’t get to attend many but it’s always fun when we can make it. One week we went to the new Austin Aquarium.
The kids had a blast petting all of the animals. This may or may not be a severely regretted day. . .more about that later.
Clara comes over to play with the bigs quite often and it’s so nice that they play so well together so much of the time.
On January 16th I went to have a girls night with a close friend who was having a baby the following week. On the way home from her house a deer, yes a freaking deer, ran in front of my van. It was the craziest thing EVER. I’ve never worried about hitting a deer but apparently it’s s super common thing. So, here’s my poor van post deer attack.
After I got home and called insurance, etc. it was pretty late. Jay and I were very thankful that although the deer issue was a hassle, I wasn’t hurt. We thought that the craziness of the day was over. At 2 a.m. Jackson came into our room having a severe asthma attack and could barely breath. His lips were turning blue and he wasn’t responding to the inhaler. Jay took him to the ER and 5 hours later they were home and thank God, Jackson was fine.
