As is our tradition, we spent Christmas Eve at Papa and Nana’s house.
Lincoln playing with cousin Jonah.
Lincoln adores his Papa and always wants to be held. Poor Papa had just had rotator cuff surgery and still held Linc.
Nana working on our annual hand/foot print craft.
Lincoln often reaches for me.
Jay was very happy about the box of treats that Jessica made for us!
Lincoln loves Nana’s rocking chair.
It was so nice to be home!
I think this is the last year. . .ever. . .that I’ll be trying to keep a toddler from falling down the stairs. Crazy end of an era!
Making progress on the crafts.
Bear adores Jessica.
Getting Jackson’s hand print.
Present time. . .
I love this picture of Papa and Jackson.
For dinner we had filet mignon and potatoes. That dinner happens to be the very favorite meal of every one of my boys!
After dinner we continued with our advent devotion. I’m so glad that we got this book this year because it was so much fun to read each night and it really made a big impact on Jackson. Baron paid attention part of the time but Jackson was definitely impacted by it.
This picture was taken earlier in the day. I had just brushed Bear’s hair and Jay thought his real mother might have been Phillis Diller. Yes, we immediately got him a hair cut.
My boys are constantly begging me to make funny faces for them to take picture of. . .here’s one of the gems that Baron captured.
And lastly, we were so sad not to be with the Francis clan but luckily we did get to facetime with them and feel a little closer on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Another blessed Christmas Eve. I am so grateful for my family.
