I helped one of my friends from our local homeschool group host a Christmas party for all of the kiddos. She plays the guitar and had little instruments for all of the kids to play with while we sang Christmas carols.
Lincoln rocking the maraca.
Some of the cookies that Jackson and I had baked were for this party. We had a cookie decorating station for the kiddos.
My kids are always thrilled when cookies are involved!
After cookie decorating we had a book exchange.
One of the other ladies made a “blessing tree” and each kid wrote (or drew a picture of) their favorite blessing on a star and put it on the tree.
Baron’s favorite blessings were, “smiles and robots.” He said those were his two favorite things in life. I love that crazy kid!
Jackson’s favorite blessing was, God. He’s got such a heart for Jesus and it makes me so happy.
“See mom, smiles and robots. They are the BEST!”
Later that night the boys buried Jay in blankets and pillows while I was making dinner. Why don’t they ever want to play that game with me?
Lincoln loves to snuggle.
I love this guy’s smile.
Our Sunday school class Christmas party was the same night as Jay’s office party. After much thought Jay decided to skip the office party for the church one. I was so excited and we had a great time. Our Sunday school class has been such a huge blessing to our family and I’m so grateful for it and all of the wonderful friends that we have made there.
My good friend Jessica is due with her 3rd baby in January so we celebrated with a baby shower/ladies lunch in December. It was so much fun and I can’t wait to meet baby Cole!
The majority of the 40 dozen cookies that we baked were for our neighbors. Jackson and his buddies had a great time delivering all of the treats to each of the families on our street!
