So far our summer has been a lot of fun. We are finally plugged into a great church and have a decent amount of friends. We are in a great Sunday school class and I’m in two weekly women’s bible studies as well as Jay and I hosting one in our home on Thursday nights. Life is pretty good these days. Here is some of what we are up to:
The kids love the neighbors Barbie convertible so much that when I saw this (very used) Barbie Jeep on a garage sale website I just had to buy it. We discussed that we might paint it a more manly color but I doubt that will ever happen. The kids love it-best $20 ever!
We’ve still been having lots of snacks in the fort.
One afternoon my little silly man walked in and said, “mom, I’m pretty sure I look great!” He had dressed himself (total coincidence that the shorts actually match the shirt) and was feeling pretty good about it. I just love this guys confidence. . .and his crazy silly expressions!
Off roading in the jeep.
Playing with the spider man sprinkler that Aunt Carolyn gave Jackson a few years ago.
Lots and lots of swinging of course!
A few weeks ago one of our best buddies, Addison, had her first ever dance recital. We have a pretty tight group of neighbors and we all go to each others kids’ events. Here’s a part of Addison’s cheering section.
The kids after the show.
Addison’s family had an ice cream party at their house after the show.
Despite the fact that they bought all “good” ingredients man-my kids have had a lot of treats lately.
We are blessed to live near a ton of parks and splash pads. The boys love playing in the water.
Well, the big boys love it. Lincoln is not so much a fan yet.
Jack is totally into making fairy houses after building one with Mia and Lennon.
I’ll end with yet another Bear original. Gotta love when this kid gets dressed all by himself!

I found you! :-) The boys are getting so big! I'm glad to read Austin is starting to feel more like home.
