Bear’s New Bike

After the Hatch visit it was clear that we needed to get training wheels on Jackson’s old bike for Bear.  After taking a look at Jack’s old bike (a wobbly 4th generation hand me down that was in very bad shape) we realized that it also needed new tires.  The price of new tires and training wheels was only a few dollars less than a new bike.  We thought this would be a great opportunity for Bear to get to choose a new bicycle.  Recently he had noticed that Jackson usually makes all of the decisions and gets the new stuff.  Typically Bear is thrilled to get Jack’s hand me downs but I want to be mindful that my sweet middle man doesn’t ever feel left out. 
He was SO EXCITED.  Jay took Bear by himself (alone time with Jay is a coveted event for the boys) and let him choose a bike and it was awesome.  He came home so proud and even announced to his neighborhood friends that nobody had ever had this bike before, not even Jackson!  Here he is with his beloved bike. . .
