Poor Lincoln wasn’t impressed with his adorable smocked Easter outfit. Jay said he didn’t blame him.
Still sleeping in the infant carrier.
There’s a gas station by our house that has an employee that drives this car. It’s one of my boys favorite things to stop and look at. They love hot wheels so they think this is like a giant toy. It’s the little things that thrill them that I’m so thankful for!
Last month Jackson’s friend down the street Isaac turned 7. His parents gave him the option of inviting friends from the street or friends from school. His mother said there was no hesitation, street won. Our street has been such a blessing in providing friends for the kids and Jay and I. So, here are a few shots from the party. . .all families from just our street.
Lincoln getting some neighborly love.
Jackson was very focused on the cake and ice cream.
I love this picture of Clara, Baron and Violet.
My little 8 month old ginger.
We had a super fun day at the party and then that night we hosted a movie night (for all of the same people) with some friends from across the street.
I didn’t take many pictures but we had a blast eating, drinking and hanging out with our fun neighbors. The kids loved watching “Honey I Shrunk the Kids.”
And my favorite picture. . .Dave and Jay. . .
This is from March 24th. Lincoln still had NO interest in eating.
As you can see, he’s NOT impressed by the carrots.
But he does still like to laugh and play.
Happy little guy.
I cannot explain how nice it is to let the boys play in the backyard. They love to be out there with Jay working in the yard.
We hang out with our neighbors Dave and Jessica all of the time and Jess and I watch each others kids frequently as well.
Dave and Jay hanging out with the kids around the fire in the backyard.
Jackson really loved Zeke, his first pet, but the time came to let him go. Poor Zeke wasn’t doing well and I told Jackson that if he kept him he would probably die.
I was really proud because Jackson made the decision all on his own and very quickly. He didn’t want anything bad to happen to Zeke but was still crushed. He bawled like crazy after letting his little buddy go.
He made me take a picture of Zeke happily running in the yard so he could remember what he looked like. I just love that God blessed Jackson with such a tender heart.
And that’s most of our March!
