You can imagine my surprise this morning when Jackson woke me up. . .

Jackson: Mom, my foot is bleeding.
Me: What? What time is it? Why is your foot bleeding?
Jackson: Well, I was doing a science experiment to see if duct tape was strong enough to hold a person hanging from the top bunk bed.
Me: So, it wasn't strong enough?
Jackson: Enough of it would be, we just need to buy more.

I seriously had no idea how fun my life would be as a mom. . .you can't make this stuff up!
