Testing. . .

Little Bear got his very first time out at school today.  It’s so funny to see the differences between my kiddos because for Jackson a week without a time out is (and always has been) a really great week.  And Bear, of course is only two but still shocked his teacher today by getting one.  She said it was pretty funny because Bear has always been completely compliant but today he threw a toy on the floor and when she asked him to pick it up (3 different times) he just stared at her.  She then let him know that he was getting a time out and said he was super upset and kept saying, “yes, ma’am, I’m so sorry!  Yes, ma’am I pick up toy!”  Luckily she still gave him the time out.  It’s just been funny (of course I don’t let him know that it’s funny) to see tiny Bear start to test the limits.  He’s definitely gotten time outs at home recently-this was just a school first.  Aw, the fun of being two!
