Bear’s First Haircut

While we were at Nanny and Paw Paw’s house they got the boys hair cut.  Jack of course has had several hair cuts but this was a first for Bear.  He did very well and sat still.

Here’s Bear pre hair cut.  His hair was definitely too long but I just love floppy haired boys!

Thanks for getting  the kids hair cut Nanny and Paw Paw!

Santa

Right before Thanksgiving Gaga, Jack and I went to a tree lighting ceremony and to see Santa Clause.  It was the second time that Jackson has seen Santa and each time he asks for 3 things: 1) a brother or sister, 2) a life size pirate ship and 3) an old english pocket beagle named Pirate.  Santa look a little worried. . .

Science Museum

Last week my friend Libby took us to the Science Museum for the morning.   Libby has 3 sweet boys and our boys get along fabulously!  We had such a great time with all of our little men.

Bear, Jack, Max, Myles and Libby learning about sharks.

We definitely want to go back sometime with Jay.  He would have loved all of it but he was interviewing that day. . .and we were even more excited about that!

Jackson’s Class Thanksgiving Feast!

The week before Thanksgiving Jay and I helped out at Jack’s school with his Thanksgiving party.  Once again it was a blast and I so appreciate his sweet teachers for all that they do.  It’s such a blessing to LOVE the school your kiddos go to!

After the prayer the kids all had to say one thing that they were thankful for.  Jack said he was thankful for his Nanny and Paw Paw.  It was so sweet that he was so excited about going to visit them!

What a great day!

Star Wars Party

Jackson has had some trouble behaving at school lately.  We told him that if he behaved perfectly (to which he replied, “really mom, nobody but Jesus is PERFECT!”) and then amended to if his teacher said he had awesome days for a period of time he could watch Star Wars.  He’s only allowed to watch Star Wars 4 (which is really Star Wars 1 if you ask me) but he loved it.  We started the movie while Bear was still awake so that Jack wouldn’t be up too late.  I came in during the party and saw the guys watching the movie except for Bear who simply said, “Hi!  Bear work mom puter! (translation: Bear working on moms computer)”  I thought it was pretty funny!

Brothers

I thank God every day for these two precious boys!

Rain

A few weeks ago the kids were super fussy and we were all driving each other crazy.  It started raining like crazy and all I could think was that we should run out and play.  So, the 4 of us spent over an hour playing in the rain and it was just what we needed!

I don’t think Bear had ever played in the rain before, he was in heaven.

And of course Jackson kept saying, “tut tut it looks like rain” and “rain drops falling on my head!”

I love seeing what great buddies the boys are becoming.  Warms my heart to see how much they love each other.

When it was time to go in for a bath this is the look Bear gave me.  NOT.HAPPY.

Sometimes all we need is a rainstorm to turn a grumpy day around!

Dinner with the Hirsts

A few weeks ago we had a fantastic dinner at the Hirst home.  It was not only delicious but so much fun.  Thanks again Hirst family 5!!

I got to give precious baby Keanan his 2nd ever bottle.  I love that little guy!

Bear LOVES Gracie.  It’s so fun having kids who love animals!  Someday when we have a backyard I might even get them a dog.  Don’t get too excited. . .I said MIGHT.

Silly faces at dinner.

IMG_2576

These four kids love each other so much and have such a blast together.  It’s hard to imagine that when our families are together there are 9 of us. . .just a few years ago it was 4, and all adults!

Love the smiles on the faces of the bigs!
