Adrienne’s Minute To Win It birthday party

Last month Adrienne turned 21 again and had a super fun “minute to win it” party.  The game is taken from a show by the same name.  I have never seen the show but basically you have several crazy tasks to complete in 1 minute.  It was really fun and more importantly very funny!  Here are a few shots of the mayhem:

In this first game everyone had an oreo on their forehead.  The goal was to get it into your mouth without using your hands.  This game made for some pretty funny facial expressions!

Pasta time.  Here we had to string penne (I think?) pasta onto a piece of spaghetti using only our mouths.

Next was the tissue game.  Using only one hand, you had to take all of the tissues out of a box, 1 at a time in 1 minute.  It was pretty funny.

Below Kristin and Emilie had to wear belts with tissue boxes containing ping pong balls in them.  The point was to shake at the right angle to get all of the ping pong balls to fly out of the boxes.  I have to admit I totally ruled at this game!  Seriously, I may have set a world record. . .

Ah, the panty hose on the head game.  Kevin was brave enough to attempt this first.  There is a baseball at the foot of the panty hose and he had to swing the ball into 6 empty bottles and knock them over.

Kevin was such a champ that we changed it to where we tied the hose around your waist and the ball was in the back.  Definitely made it funnier.  And even better was Damian’s strategy. . .he just madly ran in circles hoping the ball would swing into the bottle.  Luckily he barely missed the television and several glasses of wine.  No one else tried this particular strategy. . .

Jay went at it another route. . .and knocked them all down!

But pregnant Jaclyn took the prize for the fastest.  I guess that lower center of gravity really helped.

Here there were a stack of cards on top of a bottle.   You had to blow them off one at a time leaving only 1 card at the end.  Much harder than it sounds!

More panty hose. . .this time there was a penny in each foot and you had to get to them using only your hands.  This was tough-but so funny to watch.

Now everyone wants to try to card game.  Notice the high 5’s when someone succeeds.

The game that we don’t have pictures of  is the cinnamon game. . .Adrienne and Damian had seen this one on America’s Funniest Video and thought it would be great to try.  However, they didn’t volunteer for it. . .Bart and Chris tried to swallow a teaspoon of cinnamon.  Apparently the video made it look really hilarious when in real life it is awful and really hurts your throat, for about 24 hours.  So, if anyone is thinking of throwing this type of party-skip the cinnamon!

What a fun night celebrating Adrienne’s birthday.  We can’t wait to celebrate many more with you A!
