Jackson. . .the Bun Slayer!

Yesterday morning I was trying to swat a fly (you know that super annoying kind that tries to land on your food. . .YUCK!)
Anyway, after watching me struggle for this dang fly Jackson yells, "wait mommy, wait!" He then runs to the play room and returns carrying his new baseball bat. He exclaims "NOW mommy, NOW!" And smacks the bat down on the fly killing it with one hit. Of course the fly either fell asleep or had been drinking because it didn't even try to get out of the way of the bat. Jackson has never even hit the ball (unless I roll it) with the bat so it was pretty funny to see him smack the fly. After his big victory he smiled and proudly said "I did it mommy, I DID IT!" He then picked it up in a paper towel and threw it away before running off to face another challenge. What a hysterical kid, he keeps me laughing!
BTW-Jackson calls bugs "buns."
