Just Yike Daddy

It's always been obvious that Jackson loved his daddy but lately he is obsessed with being "just yike daddy!" Jackson wants to wear socks and tennis shoes "yike daddy" if that's what Jay is wearing. If Jay is wearing flip flops, Jax wears flip flops. Jackson has to have his hand in his pocket if Jay's hand is in his pocket. He even has to lay like Jay (on his stomach) when watching tv. It's so cute to watch and I love seeing the new ways Jackson can imitate Jay.


Jay and Jax went on a walk together yesterday. When they got back Jay took off his shoes. Jackson then took off his shoes and spent about 2 or 3 minutes placing them perfectly next to Jays. He kept moving them slightly until he had them exactly the way he wanted. He then exclaimed "I did it! See, just yike daddy!"



Today Jackson found Jay's mouse from his work computer. He immediately ran to the play room to get his toy lap top and got to work. He was telling us constantly to "be piet(quiet)" b/c he was "working yike daddy." He was SO proud to show Jay that he was working. He even told me not to touch his work when he left the room to get the mail with daddy:)



I always tell Jackson that he is a good little man. While working he said he was a "good little working man!"







When Jay travels I tell Jackson daddy is away because he is a wonderful man who works very hard to take such good care of us. And that when he is older he will take care of his wife and children. Today Jackson said he was "taking care of Mommy with working." Although I don't ever want Jackson taking care of us it was pretty cute to see his sweet little thought process.



I LOVE this adorable proud smile Jackson gets when he shows Jay what he has done:) This week Jackson has been in heaven having daddy home. . .and I've been pretty thrilled too!
