I love that Lincoln does this pose all of the time. And the fact that he does it all of the time you’d think I would have a better picture. Nope. But at least I can use this one to remember my sweetie 3rd boy and his gymnastics.
It’s a wonder that my kids are ever dressed!
I love mornings where we just lounge around for school. Here Jack is helping Bear with his letters.
And now for some history. . .Liberty’s Kids (US history series).
I am so thankful for these three precious boys.
Bear learning to ride a bike with no training wheels!
Sadly this is the only picture that I got from a super fun GNO with the ladies from our Sunday school class. It was an Indian cooking class led by my friend, Supriya who is from India and cooks amazing Indian food. Such a great time and I’m still so shocked by the extreme blessing of so many wonderful friends here in Austin. God’s provision for us here is very plain to see in so many aspects of life. Insane cost of living here is really the only thing that has been a disappointment. Obviously I would love to be closer to family but
Our beloved (and dearly missed) babysitter, Amanda, has an older brother, Daniel who needed a place to stay for a few nights while he interviewed here. We loved having him and he was so much fun with the boys. Here are a few pictures of their sword fighting:
Crazy things happen to us occasionally, and I got a text from an acquaintance in Dallas who was in Austin for one night. Turns out she needed a sitter for her two girls and Jay and I were happy to help. As a thank you for watching her kiddos she gave us two VIP tickets to Jimmy Kimmel live in Austin with Willie Nelson. We were SO excited for a fun (and FREE) night out together.
Unfortunately, Lincoln got the flu (seriously!?!) that morning and had a 104 fever. So, I stayed home with him (even if a sitter had been ok with a sick baby I wanted to hold him all night, poor guy was miserable) while Jay and our buddy Bryan had an awesome night out in Austin.
Pictures in the VIP line.
They said it was awesome.
