Finishing Up January

Jackson still loves Classical Conversations and has become super close to his “best friend,” Caleb, who is next to him.

Jackson and Caleb sit next to each other each week.  Caleb is such a sweet and smart little guy. And when Jackson sits next to him, he magically never gets into any trouble.  Caleb may have to move in with us, haha!

Jackson loves the public speaking/presentation portion of class each week.  He’s very comfortable speaking to his class.

Bear is pretty much the funniest, silliest, most adorable guy in the world.  He spends most of his days in costume.  I am a bit biased but think that he’s the cutest Peter Pan that I’ve ever seen.

On January 21st my sweet friend, Jessica, had her precious 3rd baby (first son), Cole.  I loved being able to hold her tiny man.

For mom’s actual 60th I made this little collage of photos of her over the last 42 years.  She’s stayed so beautiful and young looking.  This photo has pictures of her from 18, 28, 55 and 59.  I pray to age as beautifully as she has!

Austin had a “snow day!”  This is the extent of the snow but my little Texan ran in and said, “can we play in the snow?  It’s like a winter wonderland out there!” 

And yes, I’m amazed that they could even make snowballs in that wild mess of snow. . .

The (super tiny amount of) snow was all gone the next day.  So it was back to business as usual, which means tons of kids on the swing set.

Every day the boys are out with tons of neighbor kids on the swing set.

Mandy and Nick gave the boys this awesome tic tac toe game and the neighbor kids love playing it.  On Saturday (1/25) the boys played for hours.
