By Thursday we were all very aware that the week was more than half way over. We were having such a fabulous time and didn’t want it to stop.
Lennon and Baron hanging out in the cabin.
This is the view from the front door. The cabins are small but all you do is sleep in them so you don’t need much space. We had bunk beds, a sofa bed and a queen size bed. We also had a pack n play for Lincoln.
Sitting on the bed and looking at the door. On the left is a sink and on the right is an open closet.
This is part of the Wild Kids (Lennon and Jackson’s group). Here Lennon is hanging out with his favorite counselor, Sparkles. One time I walked in to get Lennon and he and Sparkles were just laying on the floor with their feet up in the air and talking. They were definite buddies.
Mia’s camp BFF Caitlyn and Lincoln. Caitlyn loved all of the Adams and Francis kiddos.
At every meal they had a show. The theme for the week was the “Worst Wurst.” Yep, a huge bratwurst/hotdog. The kids were so into it and loved every second of it. The Wurst had a ginormisizer (yep, you guessed it, a machine that takes condiments and makes them ginormous). His plan all week was to make evil condiments ginormous and have them take over the world. It was obviously really silly and half of the time I had no idea what was going on but the kids were laughing so hard that we were thrilled just watching them.
Bear with our devo (devotional) counselor “Losto.” It’s so weird that at camp some days his hair was insanely crazy and others it was pretty straight, like in this picture.
Sweet little buddy.
Two of the counselors who did a crazy skit all week to teach the verse of the week, which was:
Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. Revelation 15:3
We loved being with nature all week and really enjoyed the lack of technology.
One afternoon Mia’s class had a “crud war.” Looks like a pretty fun time!
Our girl seems to be having a pretty great time!
Thursday night there was a candle lit steak dinner for the adults. It was yet another wonderful date night.Praise the Lord for, yet another, great day with the family!
