Yesterday (Tuesday, December 4th) I put Lincoln on his tummy and he immediately rolled over. I put him back on his tummy and once again, he rolled. The big boys were so excited! Then a third time he did it and I caught it on film to send to Jay at work. So, despite the fact that the poor little guy has had less than an hour of tummy time in the last 4 months he’s definitely progressing! And yes, I promise to be better about it because we do want him to learn to crawl. . .some day. It’s just amazing to me that my very last sweetie boy has already reached the first mile stone of mobility! I’m so glad that he’s really far from the rest of them because I just can’t believe how fast it’s going. I’m savoring every last toothless grin knowing that soon that phase will be over. Some times I try to remember what life was like before kids and even though it’s only been 5 years it seems like a lifetime ago. I saw a sign that said, “Without kids my house would be clean, my wallet would be full and my heart would be empty,” so very true!
