Alright, well we’ve been in our new home a little over a week now. We are definitely not settled but it’s time to start catching up on the blog. So, here’s a picture summary of our last month in Plano.
I know Jackson will someday not be thrilled that I am posting this but it just cracks me up. He ran into the bathroom and said, “look mommy, I’m a nurser!” That’s right, he’s got nursing pads stuck to his nipples! I sent the picture to Jay at work and he said he died a little when he saw it. Jack definitely keeps us laughing!
On September 19th the Feller family took us out to a goodbye dinner. Amanda is the boys all time favorite babysitter and they just adore her. She’s been such a huge help to me not only by watching the kids but also by having such a special relationship with Jackson. She’s called before and asked what Jack was doing and could she take him to the park or out to eat or just to hang out. Her mother, Paddy has also been a great friend/mentor of mine through the MOMS Connection ministry. Their family is a huge blessing to us!
They love to goof off and take pictures!
We’ll definitely look forward to seeing Amanda when we are in town!
Here we are at a park play date that same afternoon. Lincoln was relaxing with baby Eden in the shade.
I love that 3rd little man!
Bear and Parker have been buddies all their lives. I can’t believe that they look so old here!
It was so awesome going to the park with the Hirst gang each day after school. Here are more fun park pics.
BFF’s Bear and Charlie.
Jack was insistent that this action shot make the blog. Here he is jumping from his swing.
Sweet middle boys!
Sweet baby K.
Yes, Jackson is ALWAYS climbing.
Jackson, Deya (Ellie’s friend from gymnastics) and Ellie.
These 3 got along very well.
Later that night Papa came over and he and Jackson got to “battle.” With Jay traveling all week Jack’s only battles were when Papa would come. I was too pooped for high energy combat.
Lincoln is just changing every day.
Bear often decides that he is the baby and needs to be in the baby carrier. . .
One day while the bigs were at school Adrienne and I (and of course the babies) went to Einstein’s for a wonderful 3+ hour breakfast. I had to get a picture of little Keanan who sat happily and let us chat away!
A few days later we went to a bounce place and they had a hurricane simulator. Jackson was very proud to pay with HIS money for he and Adrienne and the other kids to go inside.
They had a great time!
Sweeties having lunch. After lunch Jackson insisted on paying for me to sit in the massage chair. He’s quite the generous little man.
That evening we went to the surprise gender reveal party for Bill and Ann-Renee. It was such an honor to be included in such a special moment with them. I’m so excited to meet the sweet little boy who will be blessed to have them as parents!
More pictures of Lincoln. I keep saying that I’m posting lots of pictures of him for Nanny and Paw Paw (we’re so excited that Nanny is feeling better and we get to go to Beach City this weekend!!) and that’s true. But, I’m also taking lots of pictures because I just want to remember every moment with him. He is such a joy just like his big brothers. I’ve heard stories about how the 3rd baby ends up with no pictures so I’m really trying not to let that happen.
I mean really, how could I not just love that little face!?!
While baby shopping for a gift for Ann-Renee and Bill I came across kiddo shaving kits. Score for the bigs!
Nana and Papa came again for dinner and Nana had some reading time with Jack.
Here’s Lincoln on 9/25, his two month birthday.
On September 28th we went to the zoo with the Morris and Hirst mommies and kiddos.
Jack has always loved Charlie. In fact, when Baron was first born Jack insisted that Adrienne and Damian had stolen the name Charlie from us and that we should call Baron Charlie. Funny dude! And yes, he picked out his own clothes for the day. . .
The Adams, Morris and Hirst kiddos minus Keanan and Lincoln.
Fun feeding the giraffes.
Bear being Bear.
Jackson wanted me to send this picture to Nana because she loves giraffes so much.
That’s right, my 5 year old wanted to be in the stroller.
My kids love the elephants.
Bear goes for the more traditional approach.
Jack and Rileigh.
Lincoln was in the moby wrap the entire day thanks to a tutorial by Adrienne. Since then he has basically lived in that wrap. Such a life saver. I can’t believe that I didn’t use it with the other boys!
While in the reptile area Jack and Rileigh were looking at snakes and Bear and Parker were with me. Jessica came in totally grossed out saying that we needed to leave because the snake was eating. I immediately grabbed Bear knowing that he would think it was cool and took him to where Jack and Ri were watching the snake feed. Jess said that my actions explained why God kept giving me boys. The boys totally loved it.
After being at the zoo from 10 a.m. to 4:30 the guys just wanted to lay around and snuggle Lincoln. He, of course, loved it.
And two more pictures of teeny man Linc.
Ok, well, these pictures only got me caught up through September 28th so I guess catching up will take more than 1 post. But hey, it’s a start and now I’m only 1 month behind!
