A few weeks ago (aren’t all of my posts starting with that line lately?) the boys school hosted pancakes with parents and then we got to check out some of their super awesome art. Jay unfortunately had to work but the boys and I had a great time.
Bear’s typical squinty smile-I love his silly personality!
When we got there the boys and I sat down together. Then two of the girls in Jack’s class asked him to sit with them. He said, “no thanks, I’m with my mom” and I could tell he was dying to sit with them. I told him to go ahead and a huge smile came across his face as he ran over to sit with them
Bear still goofing off.
At one point another girl came over with her mom and asked Jack to smile for a picture. I had to snap one at the same time because it was Rachel, the little girl that he talks about constantly. Her mom told me that Rachel gets very upset when Jackson gets in trouble at school.
And I of course love these smiles from Jack and Mrs. Loppatto.
Jack and Ellie were happy to see each other.
Something was obviously very funny. . .
This is the only shot I got of the boys together.
Bear’s art. The first one is a butterfly made from an imprint of the bottom of the green rain boots (from Lennon) that he wears constantly. The second is a tree that he painted with broccoli.
Here they made palm leaves with their palms.
Me with my very favorite guys (minus Jay).
Jack’s corn flowers.
Here is a fish that Jackson named Humpty.
And his crab (whose eye is bent forward) whom he named Dumpty.
The class made pictures that when all put together made a quilt.
What a great day! I can’t believe it’s Jackson’s last pancakes with parents and spring show of preschool. . .SLOW.DOWN.TIME!
