The drive to Kidfest 2010

Why have a post about our 5 1/2 hour drive you ask. Well, when you get to see a "real" fire engine it deserves it's own post! On our way to San Antonio we stopped at chick fil a to feed Baron and as luck would have it the firemen were doing the fill the boot fundraiser at the gas station next door. Jackson, who is obsessed with
firemen, just had to go meet them. So, Jay grabbed a few bucks and off they went. Fireman Ron was such a good sport that he not only talked to Jackson for several minutes but he also let him climb in the truck and explore. Jackson was ecstatic. Jay didn't want to take the camera with them but I did get a few shots of them coming back. Jackson has talked about fireman Ron ever since!
