Weekend at Mandy's

Before you begin, this post is way too long but that's how I roll these days:)

Last Thursday after Jackson's Mother's Day Out we went to visit Mandy. Jackson had been begging us to go for quite some time. Can you tell how excited he was during our road trip?

By the way, he's holding his "own debit card" that he carries everywhere with him. It's the rebate card we got from buying Jay's iphone and is expired:)

We stopped in Waco to walk around the Baylor campus. It was so much fun for Jay and I and Jackson loved the bear pit. He kept saying "awwww, sic 'em bears!" Unfortunately the bears were sleeping but we made the same stop on the way back and they were awake. My camera battery was of course dead by then.

We finally made it to Mandy's to find a mountain of birthday presents on her table waiting for Jax. Here they are playing with one of his new toys.

And the remote control tarantula was a major hit. . .

. . .with both guys!

A few of Jackson's new things.

Giving Aunt Mandy a thank you hug while reaching for another present.

Tools are definitely the way to Jax's heart.

Modeling his new tool belt.

Jackson loved Mandy's new table with the tumbled glass.

Jack and Jay having fun in the bounce house.

I love that smile:)

Jackson was so excited to mow the lawn with Jay.

Seriously, Jackson was obsessed with the john deer.

Even when it had to go up he still wanted to play on it.

Guy time was big this weekend. If Jay walked anywhere Jackson would yell, "don't leave out me daddy. One minute, I need shoes! Please wait me daddy!" And of course Jay always waited. It's so cool seeing Jackson love his awesome daddy so much.

Jackson getting ready to fish with daddy.

Mandy had a special frame waiting for the sonogram picture I promised her:)

Very proud about the "men only" fishing expedition he was about to embark on.

"See mine fishing stuff!"

Mandy's precious nephew, Mac, came to play on Saturday. As you can see Jackson loved him at first sight.

Jackson was trying to coax a much more cautious Mac into the bounce house.

Always happy at Aunt Mandy's:)

It amazes me how fast he is growing up.

Goofy guy.

More hugs. Jackson followed Mac around and was trying to straighten his shirt and help him with everything. Mac, who has two older brothers, didn't seem to mind.

Funny Mac on the dragon.

I love it when Jackson laughs so hard that he throws his head back.

Jackson in his awesome new Mickey Mouse hoodie. Thanks Nanny!

He insisted on wearing Mickey Mouse all of the time.

Thanks so much to Mandy for such a great long weekend!
