Jackson has a new obsession with money. It started a while back when after buying him some new shoes I took him to ride the carousel at the mall. After spending $5.00 on 3 carousel rides I let him know that we were out of money and had to go home. Ever since he's tried to squeeze money out of everyone and everything. He constantly explains "Yackson need mo money. Need money to wide horses mall." It's pretty funny. He will try almost any food or do almost any chore (kind of) for pay. And he actually asks on some things now if he does them will he get money. Awesome, I thought we might have more than 2 years before he started expecting a wage. Even funnier is that he stockpiles all of his money in his lunch box from mothers day out. He quickly adds his new coins and at least one time each day he "counts" his money and asks if it's enough to "wide (ride) horses." Last weekend we decided to reward his entrepreneurial spirit and take him to the carousel. While there he had a blast. He made sure that we gave him the tokens and that he paid the attendant with "Yackson own money."
All of that saving finally pays off! Jackson was thrilled to be on the horse:)
Jackson got very impatient very quickly as the kids were taking too long loading. But doesn't Jay look happy to be with his little man:)
The ride begins!
Jackson is famous for "banishing" Jay and I to sit on the bench behind his horse when he decides he wants to ride "own self." We let him choose the horse he wants to ride on and he almost always chooses the one by "dada mommy chair." Tricky little dude.
After 3 rides I told him it was time to go home. He was NOT happy. He kept assuring me that he had "mo money."

Way to go, Jackson! That's one very smart boy!
That apple didn't fall far from the tree, huh? I predict an Adams Family Business at some point in the future :-D
It's pretty amazing that he can stay so focused -- he's brilliant, obviously!
