Christmas 2008 Part 1

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! We started out at Dad and Laura's for Christmas Eve. Jer had come into town the day before (and because the Francis family didn't come in until late Christmas day) we just had a low key evening. Jackson had a really rough night and woke up at 1:22 in the morning. He stayed awake until 5:45 and slept until 7:08 a.m. He initially woke up screaming and then when I put him in bed with Jay and I he would just cuddle and act super sweet. Then back to the pack and play and an hour of screaming. Since we weren't the only people trying to sleep we only let him cry one hour. YIKES. Needless to say we were a little tired Christmas morning and pretty happy to be actually celebrating the next day. The only gift that was opened the actual Christmas day was his 4x4 atv (from us) which he LOVED! It was a last minute buy in an online special for $39! Worth every penny:)

I couldn't get Jackson to smile on cue but after such a long night I settled for this!



We are both about to pass out from exhaustion!


The rest of the family arrived later that day and we did presents and then had a wonderful dinner of delicious steaks! Also for some reason the pictures below posted out of order, and I don't feel like correcting them:)
