Lincoln at 7 Months

Our precious little guy is getting bigger and bigger and is sweeter than ever.  Don’t mind the Christmas jams in March. . .Bear picked them out.
Lincoln’s physical therapist asked us to clip this little nuk brush to his clothes so that he would chew on it in the hopes that it would urge him to start eating baby food.

This precious little face just melts my heart.  I love his smile and adorable laugh.

His expression cracks me up in this one.

And his 7th month Letter=N.  I can’t believe we’ve already spelled his first name in months.  Month 8 begins Adams with the letter A.

Lincoln began sitting up this month (pictures to follow) and I just know he’s about to turn a corner with his sleep.  So far he still gets up 3-4 times each night but I just know (and pray!) that he’s going to sleep thru the night very soon.

We love our little Linc-a-doodle (Bear’s name for him) and can’t imagine our lives without his gentle spirit in our home!

February Happenings. . .

Bear LOVES driving or riding in sweet Addison’s (and Brynn’s) pink mustang.

Welcome the newest member of the Adams family, Zeke Christopher Adams.  Jackson and Baron both love this little chameleon.

Recently a friend posted a recipe (from pinterest) for pancakes using 1 banana and 2 eggs.  I added a little vanilla and some cinnamon and my boys are addicted.  They are so easy and super delicious (you don’t even need syrup) so we’ve been having them quite a bit lately.

There’s no doubt about the fact that Jackson loves his daddy.  Often when I tell Jack that Jay is on his way home from work he will write him a little note and tape it to the front door.  Here’s the envelope of the most recent note.  On the inside it said, “You’re the best daddy in the whole world and I love you so much!”  He wrote it all (I told him how to spell everything).  I am so thankful for Jack’s tender little heart.

The Francis family introduced us to this game and we love it.  Jack and I play it quite a bit before bedtime.  Jay is kind of a party pooper and doesn’t like games but every once in a while we can convince him to play a round or two.

On February 22nd Jackson lost his SECOND tooth.  Seriously, he’s getting way too big!  I had no idea what bragging rights you get from losing teeth.  It’s hilarious to hear the kids on the street talk about how many teeth they’ve lost.  It’s like hearing high school guys talk about their cars or something.  Major street cred for having lost two teeth.

A few weeks ago the boys went to a super hero birthday party for a friend down the street.  This is currently the only swing set in the neighborhood.  Jackson is beyond excited for the awesome one that he and Paw Paw are going to build.

You can see all of the boys dressed up and the girls with their princess dresses.

Gaga and Grandmommy Visit!

The weekend of February 15th Gaga and Grandmommy came for a long weekend visit.  I was SO.VERY.EXCITED!  It’s always a treat to have my sweet mom with us but I wasn’t sure if my precious Grandmother would ever make the trek to Austin.  Well, she did and it was a blast/honor/treat having them.

Lincoln was of course excited as well.

This is just an example of why it’s hard to get pictures of Lincoln smiling.  As soon as I start snapping one of his brothers immediately pops in next to him and gets all of his attention.  Definitely a good problem to have that Linc is so very loved by the bigs!

Yay!  They are here!

Little Bear wowed us with his light saber abilities.

Saturday we played one of our favorite games, World Disasters, created of course by the brilliant Lennon Francis.

Jack’s expression here cracks me up.  He loves this game.

Baron’s expression is equally telling.  He’s pretty bored.

Super fun and full of energy Gaga baked zucchini brownies with the boys.  They were a huge hit!

My grandmother is such an amazing example of a Godly and Christian woman.  Of course she brought her devotional to spend time in the Word each day.  Such a blessing to have such amazing women in my life and the lives of my children.

When I was sick as a kid my mom used to make cheese soup and blueberry muffins.  So, when I had the flu she said the next time she saw me she would make it.  Why is your mom’s homemade comfort food the greatest food in the world. . .no matter how old you are. . .

DSC_0086

My boys sure do love their Grandmommy and Gaga!

Thank you mom and gm so very much for the awesome visit.  Not living down the street from you is tough but the visit was perfect.   Sitting up talking and laughing each night was such a huge treat and won’t soon be forgotten!  Love you both!

Lincoln’s First 6 Monthly Pictures. . .

Here are some fun monthly pictures I’ve taken of Lincoln.  Unfortunately they aren’t all the greatest smile etc.   But hey, he’s baby #3 (and we’ve moved cities) and he still has tons of pictures. . .it could definitely be worse!

Love seeing my precious little guy change and grow each month!

And now for the letter pictures.  Since Lincoln Adams has 12 letters in it I’ve taken a picture each month with one of the letters (thanks to Adrienne for the idea and the letters).   The big challenge now is to keep Lincoln from eating the letters as I take the pictures. . .

Time is going wayyyy to fast for my sweetie baby boy but I am sure enjoying him!  I am constantly reminded what a huge blessing it is that I get to stay home and raise our boys.  I sure do adore my wonderful husband who works so very hard  to provides such a great life for us!
