Last year we spent a day with our best homeschool buddies at the Austin Nature Center. It was such a great day and we loved exploring our gorgeous city with sweet friends.

Jackson, Caleb, Noah, Roan, Lincoln and Joshua. Roan’s sweet brother Wyatt was at preschool, otherwise our team of 8 sweet boys and 3 moms would have been complete!

Lincoln was not such a fun baby last year. It’s so very nice to be writing this from the perspective of a year later when he’s the happiest, sweetest baby ever. Regardless, last year, this was his most common facial expression. He was super unhappy and threw things constantly. In hindsight it was over massive frustration from not speaking (can’t blame the little guy).

Our church has been such an incredible blessing to us since our move to Austin. It’s been a lifeline during some pretty crazy times and I’m so very grateful that God sent us such a loving community. The kids events at this church are so much fun. The end of the year party for Awana is a luau and it’s smaller than many of the HCBC events but it’s such a great time. Last year (2014) I took the 3 boys to the party while Jay volunteered because he’s a leader for Jackson’s class.
They have tons of bounce houses, lots of food, live music and games galore.

KK is one of the leaders as well so she loves to hang out with the boys at all of the events.
