Our last day at Pine Cove was really just breakfast and worship time and then packing up and heading out.
Jackie getting Lincoln out of the pack n play inside of the Star Wars tent.
Jackson’s character award:
It says he’s confident and determined. . .I definitely agree!
Baron was in Cove Kids and made a book called, Jesus’ Family Tree:
It’s pretty funny that his family tree included both Jason and Clara, two of the kids in our neighborhood.
The last page is Bear’s character award. It says, “Baron is confident. His enthusiasm brings excitement to those around him. Baron is funny and expressive.
Jackson and Lennon’s Biblical art work.
Goofy songs from the camp counselors.
Jackson with one of his favorite counselors.
Gaga and Mia with Trip (aka Triple Threat) their devo counselor.
2 of my 4 favorite guys in the whole world.
Love these sweet kiddos!
What an amazing week! After pulling the boys out of preschool to pay for camp I can definitely say that it’s a huge sacrifice but totally worth it. God definitely worked on each of us that week. Each of the kids (well, not Lincoln) said things about camp that just warmed my heart. Jackson told us that it was by far the best week of his entire life. Lennon had already planned out how many more years it would be until he could work as a counselor. We all had such a blast and we enjoyed every minute! Praise The Lord for such a wonderful vacation!
Less than 5 minutes after leaving Pine Cove, Jackson was out.
After leaving PC we went straight to see June and Earl. Lincoln was happy in Gaga’s lap.
It was so nice to see them as it had been WAY too long!
The whole gang!
My buddy.
Lennon and I had such a great week together. I can’t even express how much I love this crazy, silly, smart and quirky kiddo. His little smile just kills me. Love my precious nephew and am so thankful that we got to be even better buddies at camp.
Tender hearted Bear loving on June.
This was my boys’ first time meeting Earl and June in person (they have talked to them on the phone a lot) and they just loved them.
After visiting with the Entrekin’s for a few hours we headed to Cracker Barrel for lunch.
We could hardly stand knowing that Mia and Lennon had to leave.
My heart on a bench. . .
Love that my mom and the kids are so very close. My boys are blessed with the best grandparents ever (well, other than my grandparents!).
And I’ll finish the Pine Cove post with some of the portraits that were on the DVD.
Clue Night. . .
Jack and Lennon’s class.
Safari Night. . .
Bear’s class.
Mia’s class.
At least once a week my boys ask how many days are left until we leave again for Pine Cove. . .
