HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!
Due to travel and general pregnancy brain I have forgotten to wish many people a happy birthday on the blog (don't worry we called them all!). Anyway, happy birthday to Paw Paw, Aunt Ree Ree, Uncle Den Den, Adrienne and Bill. Bill's birthday is actually today so happy 84th Bill!! Hopefully I will remember to put the rest on the blog on the actual day!
Forgot to mention. . .
Jenna just reminded me that Jackson was calling Chuck E Cheese Chuck E Jesus when we were in Boston. He was saying, "I LOVE Chuck E Jesus!" I corrected him and let him know it was Chuck E CHEESE and so he began saying, "I love Chuck E Cheese and I love Jesus!"
Also on Thanksgiving I was explaining to Jackson about being thankful. I asked him what he was thankful for and he said "mommy, daddy, God and Jesus." I was changing his diaper during this conversation and then he said, "mommy, does Jesus have a penis?" Funny little guy.

Thanksgiving!
We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! We hosted and had my mom, dad, laura, Bill, Grandmommy, Jeremy, Noah, Jessica and Freckles. It was the perfect day. My incredible husband was so much help, he cleaned while I cooked. I couldn't have had such a stress free day without him. The food was great (everybody brought something), we all had a great time and I was truly thankful that we have such a great family. Jackson was pretty pooped by the end of the day but he loved having so much family at our home. It was my first Thanksgiving with all of my parents in quite a few years and it was really special. We definitely missed the Osby's and the Francis family but had a fabulous day. God has been so good to us and we feel very blessed these days.
All in all it was a very peaceful day and we can't wait to host again!
Jay and Jackson watching the Thanksgiving parade. They both loved watching it together and it reminded Jay of when he was a kid and always watched it with his father.
I can't belive Jackson didn't disturb the china!
Jay carving the delicious turkey. I had cooked a turkey (my first time) for our moms group Thanksgiving party a few weeks prior but Mom took care of it today.
Watching tv and waiting for the food to be ready.
The happy engaged couple! Jackson adores Noah and Jess. All morning he kept asking when they would arrive.
Dad, Jer and Freckles.
Jackson playing with his Papa and Nana. Jackson was pretty excited and energetic all day and Nana was a saint to play with him. He was in heaven with her and I was pretty happy with the break:)
We had SO MUCH food! Mom made a turkey, gravy and brought 4 pies; I made baked stuffed acorn squash, stuffing, and green bean cassarole; Dad and Laura made mashed potatoes and sweet potatoe cassarole; Grandmommy made broccoli cassarole and cranberry salad; Jess made cookies and Neiman Marcus brownies. . .there was so much delicious food! Jay said he hurt himself with all of his favorites:)
The dessert table. . .yum!
The 3 of us. . .our last Thanksgiving as a threesome:)
Jax with his great grandparents.
I love this picture of Jackson and Papa laughing!
Jax and Bill.

Hermie!
Last week at church Max Lucado spoke. It was a great sermon and Jackson was thrilled because Hermie (the common caterpillar from Lucado's childrens books) was there. Carolyn and Chris gave Jackson a Hermie book for his first Christmas and we read it EVERY night. So, as soon as Hermie was spotted, Jackson was his shadow!
Hugging his hero.
Asking Hermie about his best friend Wormie from the books.
Sharing the excitment with Daddy.
Right before we had to literally pull Jackson away. Luckily Gaga bought Jackson some Hermie movies that he already loves!

Boston Part 2
Part 2 of the pictures. . .
The boys having a tea party with Mia's tea set while she was at school. Very funny to see two little boys with these delicate little tea cups.
Jackson riding the horse with Jenna cheering him on.
Here I am helping the boys with a water race. Anderson (the little guy Jenna keeps twice a week) is looking on at the bigger guys.
Major concentration from Jax.
Jen and Lennon haivng their picture made.
Enin loving the horse.
Feeding the tickets into the machine so we could go get some loot.
Playing ring around the rosie!
Ashes ashes we all fall down!
We went back to chuck e cheese when Mia got out of school. The kids loved playing together.
Jackson hugging on Chuck:)
Lennon riding the helicopter. Jackson loves the helicopter at the Chuck E Cheese in dallas but was for some reason terrified of the one in Boston.
Our boys relaxing before bed.
Jax and Mia enjoying their morning snack. While in Boston (as always) Jackson wouldn't sleep well. He was too excited about playing with his cousins that he was waking up between 5 and 6 a.m. (4 and 5 a.m. dallas time). Anyway, Mia would get up around 6ish and we'd usually have until 7:30 before the others got up. So, the three of us had our special morning time most days. We'd always have a snack together and then have breakfast when the others woke up.
Here I am with my favorite boys ever! Leaving after such a great week was really hard. . .we're counting the days until we can live closer to our precious cousins.

Boston Trip Part 1
We had an awesome week in Boston. The kids were the best of friends and Jenna and Shelby as always were wonderful hosts.
Jenna and the kids met us at the airport and the kids were ecstatic to see each other. Mia was holding a big "welcome to Boston" sign that she had made. It was so much fun. And the boys were buddies from the start. One funny conversation in the car:
Lennon: Let's go to Jordan's
Jenna: Sorry Lennon, Jordan's is closed, we'll go another day.
Lennon: (clearly upset) Then I'm going to throw Jordan's away!
Mia: Um, Lennon, you're not really strong enough to throw Joradan's away.
Lennon: I'm cool for throwing Jordan's away.
Jackson: I could use tools to throw Jordan's away.
Mia, as usual, was great with the boys. She's still the most loving, funny, creative and sweet girl ever. Lennon and Jackson were the best of friends. It was really fun to watch them play. Occasionally we had to step in to decide whose turn it was etc but all in all they did great. Not even one major fight from the boys. Lennon doesn't drink out of a bottle but the whole time we were there he and Jax both drank bottles before bed. It was so funny because the bottles were in the fridge and neither boy ever went to get only his own bottle. They were constantly asking if Ba or Enin wanted a bottle. I can totally picture them being college roommates someday.
Ok, here are tons of pictures. . .
Jax and Lennon checking out a snake (or as Jackson calls them "more pow!") at the Rainforest Cafe.
Our sweet boys.
Happy guys loving being together.
The boys grilling hamburgers.
The cousins having their evening snuggle time.
These guys were inseparable for the whole trip.
Playing in the furniture at Jordans.
Aunt Sissy playing with the boys at Jordans. She's holding over 70 pounds of two year old here!
The boys fighting with lightsabers while Mia conducts a Miley Cyrus song.
Seeing the boys together makes me look so forward to the Francis family living in Texas again.
Mia and Mateus getting ready for our slumber party movie night.
Lennon showing Ba (Lennon still calls him Ba) that the gnome isn't scary.
Mia dressing up to go to the zoo. She's wearing a dress that used to be Jenna's.
Aunt Sissy helping the boys do the zip line.
Go Jackson!
Roasting hot dogs over the fire in the back yard.
The kids enjoying the awesome back yard.
Cousin bath time fun.
Jackson shaving with the new razor Mia and Lennon gave him for Christmas.
Sissy reading the kids their bedtime story. Mia, again, wearing one of Jenna's old dresses.
This was Mia and Jackson's "parade." I have no idea what they meant but they crawled around like this laughing hysterically saying it was a parade.
Walking to Mia and Lennon's swamp. They are on a ton of acres and exploring is a favorite activity.
Cousin hug.
Trying to get the 3 of them to smile and look at the camera was a losing battle.
Sweet Mia.
Sissy and her sweet kiddos.
Jackson throwing sticks into the swamp.
Mimi and Enin.
Jack loving being outdoors.

The boys loving on Aunt Sissy.
Showing me where the biggest sticks are hiding.
Precious Lennon loving on his mommy.
Hugging Mia while she's in time out.
Mia wearing Jenna's halloween wig.
The little peanut goofing off in the wig.
If you've been to my house you can now see that the letting the kids dance and play on the furniture is definitely hereditary:)
