A Weekend with Mandy!

Last weekend Mandy was in town for Lesley's bridal shower and bachelorette party. All of Lesley's parties were tons of fun and it was also great for Jackson to be with Aunt Mandy. Her last visit was when he was 4 weeks old so she was shocked at how much he had grown. . .and at his very loud happy shrieks when he first wakes up in the morning!

Jackson is 6 Months Old!

Jackson had his 6 month check up last Thursday. He's now 22 pounds 4 ounces and 29 and 3/4 inces long. He is maintaining his spot in the 97+ percentile for height, weight and head circumference. He's such a funny little guy who spends most of his time shrieking and laughing. His nap times aren't as regular as I wish they were but other than that he's sleeping pretty well. As you can see from the pictures he's now riding in his stroller like a big boy instead of in the infant carrier. He also has a new car seat which he loves. The cute onesie was made by Nana (Laura) and has become one of my favorites:)

Jackson's Favorite Onesie!

Jackson has now spent two complete nights at his Gaga and Paw Paw's house! It has been awesome. Jax loves time with his grandparents and Jay and I love the time alone. Although we typically forgo going out to take advantage of the opportunity to go to bed early and sleep late!
So, when I saw this onesie I loved it. Jackson is lucky enough to have three grandmothers (Gaga=Karen, Nanny=Charlotte, and Nana=Laura) and one great grandmother (Grandmommy=Mary Beth). I'm sure as he gets older he will love to spend time with each of them more and more!

A visit with Carolyn and Chris

Last Saturday Carolyn and Chris were in town for a convention where Chris was speaking. It was so nice to see them! Also Aneta and her 11 month old son, Alexander came over so it was fun to see the kids together. And if you guessed that Jackson and Alexander (despite being 5 months apart in age) were the same size. . .you're right!
Also, just one more month until we find out the gender of Carolyn and Chris's baby!!!

Jackson Outgrows His Car Seat!

Recently I read the side of Jax's car seat which clearly states that it is safe for babies up to 22 pounds. . .and then realized that the lactation consultant weighed him in at 21 pounds 11 ounces two weeks ago! So, it's time for a new carseat. Check out these pictures and then think about how Mia was 18 months before she had to move to a convertible car seat! Also here are some pictures of Jackson in his valentine's day pajamas. He's such an awesome baby, I feel so blessed to be able to be with him every day!

Super Bowl Sunday. . .and Jackson's Expensive Taste!

Last Sunday for the super bowl we went to my dad and Laura's for some great food and fun watching the game. Jackson loved sitting between his Papa and Daddy on the sofa. He also became obsessed with Papa's rolex. We knew he had excellent taste when he rejected daddy's less expensive watch to focus more on Papa's!
